In this regard, the PSPO assessments offer greater value compared to other available Scrum Product Ownership certifications. While taking a Scrum.org Professional Scrum training class is not required to take one of our assessments, it is highly recommended. We believe certification should reflect more than just attending a class, which is why Scrum.org Professional certifications are respected across the industry. Our assessments are open to anyone, providing an opportunity to demonstrate your in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Product Owner role. Each Scrum.org training class includes a complimentary attempt at the corresponding assessment.

Those who pass the PSPO assessments will earn an industry-recognized certification. There are three levels of the Professional Scrum Product Owner assessment: PSPO I, PSPO II, and PSPO III.
